Avast antivirus flags ATF Cleaner

During the boot up process today, Avast antivirus displayed a popup reporting that some Malware had been blocked.

Checking the Avast Maintenance > Virus Chest, I found the executable for [MG] ATF Cleaner 3.0.0.2.
The file was Not scheduled to run at startup. When trying to do a right-click file scan on the original download file, on a
different drive, Avast again intervened and blocked the entire process, then quarantined the file.

Seems Avast has had trouble with ATF before.

The TFC icon looks like a trashcan and is at version 3.1.9.0
I have it on my Win 7 netbook because ATF development stopped.

TFC was recommended to me by a MSMVP. When she talks, I listen because I've found her advice to be good.

The other program is version 4 and I can't vouch for because I have never used it.
