I have been using Avast Home Edition on my desktop with Windows XP for a few years and am quite happy with it. I just bought a new notebook with Vista Home Premium and would like to use Avast for my anti-virus program with it. But I don't see that it will work with Vista Home Premium.

Am I correct, incorrect? If it will not work with Vista Home Edition, does anyone have a good suggestion for another anti-virus program.

    Please help... thanks.

Avast works fine with Vista, I use it on my Vista PCs, AWIL the makers of Avast was one company that worked with Microsoft in getting their product compatible from the early beta days of Vista so its well tested.

I've been using Avast since it was available and have had no issues at all, it's also updated frequently. An excellent choice for a free AV.

    Appreciate the responses.
