I have used Rocket Dock for a long time but I am finding that it posts the installation file as containing the Win32 virus when it scans it on a boot scan. It never has found a problem with the software when it was installed. This tends to make me think that it's identification of the Win32 virus as being a false positive.
Has anyone else had this experience?
The Rocket Dock software has not been updated for soime time. My general observation is that older software tends to automatically get the boot by some of these antivirus programs as suspiciouis.

    HI

Yes Many AVs at times with an update to the definition files may cause a legit used apps files to be listed as malware, indeed you are correct in that its a false positive. If you know said software is legit then white list it in the AV, so make it as OK so future scans do not list it as malware.
