Avast On Windows 7 Pro, Trouble Loading Program

    I have a new Thinkpad windows 7 pro, I'm trying to load Avast free
    I downloaded it from here at MG's
    When I try to load it it asks what program I want to use to Open this file?
    I thought it is a self loading file?

    What's up?

    I just downloaded direct from Avast web, all is good now.

    Attention Mods....
    Something is wrong with the Avast download on the front page, I tryed all locations before posting this
