Avast Questions...

Do people normally use the Resident Protection? Does it eat up resources to have it enabled? I use Yahoo Email (scanend by Norton) so I did not set it up to scan my email, however I do use Kazaa Lite...


On a side note, I removed Norton Antivirus from my computer... There is stil a Symantec Network Driver Update entry on my Add/Remove programs list... I wanted to make sure this was solely from Norton and not needed for anything else on my computer?

thx for your reply Cowboy... I do not use Outlook nor scan my email with Avast so i disabled those processes but left the other 3 running... also i removed some extra Symantec entries with RegCleaner....
