avatar problems

I'm having problems with my avatar on Deviantart. My friend uploaded it onto my account for me (its a picture of an eye.) It shows up for him, but I don't see it on my page at all.

Do you guys see it?

Cano, there is a pic of an eye in B/W just above the members info.

 

See... this was my original icon before my friend uploaded the eye one on my account for me. I still see the old icon insted of the new one. How come everyone but me can see it?! That's crazy!

 

So often is the case......an artist cannot see their true work, (sigh) It is there.....I do not have a clue how to fix it though. Have you logged out and back in? Refreshed?

Nope...still not working.

 

Try hitting the refresh button on your browser. That should force it to reload the current version instead of cached images. You can also try clearing your browser's cache, or "temporary internet files", so it grabs current images from the page. It's obviously there; we all see it.

 

i had the same problem on a different website a couple times. try emptying your cache and then reloading the page

 

do what gt said, and make sure you click offline content

in your browser click tools>internet options>settings

and select where it says to check for updated web pages every visit

 

Goodness! Its still not working! I used CCleaner and everything!

have you tried logging on as someone else?
or from another ip?
if so what happens
try turning on system restore and restart your comp
