Ok folks this sucker has been a pain in the rear for a few weeks now. My customers are getting right and left.

what I want to figure out is how we can block this from getting on to a system. Hopefuly using either free tools or some form of lock down on a folder etc.

    Thanks

I'll review this for something that is active in protection.
I found today that AVG free is now detecting AVE.EXE as a threat and gives the option to move it to the vault, YAY!

Added info....Had one client that was getting this repeatedly after through cleanings. Turns out that it was hiding some where in AOL 9.0 in this case. I uninstalled AOL, reinstalled and no more problems even using the clients organize folder afterwards.
