I am hoping to find some help here. My brother just purchased the Averatec N3400 from Costco. The laptop has a feature where you can double tap an icon on the track pad that allows you to have a short cut to a few different features. While icon mode is enabled, you can not use the track pad as the mouse. It is very easy to tap the icon that enables the icon mode, which frustrates my brother as he knows next to nothing about computers! I have searched on line as well as the Averatec site and can not find a solution. Today is the first day with the computer and I am trying to find an answer so he will not bother me about it any more!!

I had email Averatec tech support and someone actually answered this evening. He told me to uninstalled the HOT KEY program which I did; that didn't change a thing!! I have no idea what HOT KEY is or does, so don't know if I just uninstalled something I will need in the future. I emailed back and ask what to do now and was told, there was nothing else to do!

Please tell me this guy is wrong!
