avg antivirus

Does AVG antivirus include a firewall as well? I'm currently using Zone Alarm Security suite, but after cleaning out my computer and using spy sweeper to find anything zone alarm missed, I'm questioning the realibility of ZA as an antivirus and spyware detector now....

So, after reading a little bit, I've decided I'll try AVG antivirus for a bit and see how that works, but do I also need to download a firewall as well? If so, which one should I get? Thanks

Good choice with AVG, by the way. I love that AV app.

 

Whoa, whoa,whoa AVG is an AV (Anti vir), the free ver is that only and the best way, you can pay for pro and get a quasi firewall but average at best. Zone Alarm (free) is a FW and thats all. You should really read this thread:

If you are searching for the one you bught product you will only get average results on each level at best. Get rid of Zone Alarm Suite and get the free firewall. Look at the article.
