Hi, I'm new to the forums and don't know if I'm posting in the right place, if I'm not feel free to move this thread. I am new to such stuff so I don't understand the log stuff or whatever, so if you can please guide me with detail. My AVG detected "Trojan horse Cryptic.DUQ" on afd.sys several times. When I scan my computer I get the "Blue Screen of Death"! This also happened once with TuneUp Utilities. I am on a Windows 7 Home Premium Service Pack 1 32 bit.
Any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

    Hi and Welcome to Majorgeeks.

Given that your AV detects a problem with a standard Windows driver and scanning results in a BSOD, I'd suggest you need to get that checked out by the Malware team, study and follow the instructions here: http://forums.majorgeeks.com/showthread.php?t=35407
