avg questions

    Hello all, I am new-ish /never posted but it says I last visited 3-7-05. Anyhow I have had AVG free for years and now it says it will expire in a few days. Are there any yall recomend or do I need to uninstall AVG the redownload it?

    I too have switched to Avast and found that my computer runs faster now than before with the free AVG version 8. I didn't like the false-positives it showed either.

    I installed AVG Free 8.0 on 5/2/08 on my Win XP Pro SP2 system. No problems, and my computer runs a bit faster than it did with AVG 7.5.
