   How can I clean the virus(s) in the virus vault of AVG? The heal button is greyed out and the only option available (as far as I can tell) is to "wipe object". Does this remove the virus from the vault only or does it eliminate the virus/trojan etc from the system entirely?

   You can remove indiviual files from the AVG Virus Vault program -> select files -> delete.
   
   Or to remove all files in the vault:
   
   Open the AVG Control Center program -> right click on "AVG Virus Vault" tab -> choose "Empty vault".
   
   Emptying the vault should completely remove the virus that was quarantined!
