AVI Editing

Hi all

I'm having a problem with "AVItricks". Each time I open a video, a window pops up to download "Video for Windows Codec fourcc=vssh" because the program may not be able to open properly. I'm able to view and play the video without any problems, however, the changes I'm making are not showing.

Anyone experience this? or know where to get the codec? I've tried searching with no avail.

 

Looks like you just need fddshow codec pack from sourceforge.

Choose the sourceforge link and download. It's a reliable pack although some codecs are a bit dated.

 

I downloaded the pack, but now there isn't any video. I found a program called "VirtualDub" that seems to be working.

 

I was going to suggest Vdub but wasn't sure what kind of editing you were doing. If you're just deleting parts of a movie make sure to choose Direct Stream Copy if you use Full Processing you will end up with a huge file.
