    Hi all.
Don't know if you deal with this sort of thing on here but i'll ask anyway.
I have an avi file of a t.v. programme from the 1980's.
    It's a 'Video Clip'
    Is 655mb
    Is 47:35 mins
    Bit Rate 1024kbps
    480x352
It plays fine on the computer.
I burned it to a dvd as a data file using Nero7 and went to watch it on my portable dvd player as I have done with many other avi files.
    It plays too fast?
    Very strange.
I have tried different media and different burn speeds etc but all turn out exactly the same.
I could watch it on the pc but i'm intrigued.
    Any clues??

    • Maybe it's a corrupted .avi file?
    • Maybe it was encoded incorrectly?
I've never heard of this before. If this is the only .avi file that this happens with, I would say something is wrong with the actual source (the .avi file) and nothing wrong with your DVD player/software you're using/burn speed.

Hmm, maybe, it's just that it plays perfectly on the computer.
    A strange one indeed.
