avi to mp3?

    Hi, I tried to save an avi file to an mp3 file using Audacity. It seemed to be successful. However, when I played the sound back it came out really fast. Like playing a 33rpm on a 45rpm (for those oldies who remember vinyl). Is there an easy and better way to do it? Thanks in advance.
