   The other day my HP a705w locked up on me while I was trying to sync my phone. After unpluging, the darn thing refuses to bot up. I had no power so I put in a new power supply. Now there is power to the fans and I can feel the hard drive running. However it will not boot or beep or anything. Any ideas on how to jump start this classic? Thanks in advance.:confused

   Check if the power supply LED light on the back of the computer comes on.
