Awil AntiVir

So I switched from Avast! to AntiVir... everyone seems to be saying good things about it (AntiVir), especially its use of less system resources.

However, it comes up with a giant ad to buy the paid version every so often... which is retarded. I thought freeware was freeware, and shareware comes up with crap like this.

So, my question is, is there a registry hack, etc. to disable the notification that I'm NOT interested in?

If this question is against the forum rules in anyway, let me know and I'll leave it alone.

 

It's free and considered good so leave it alone...not much to put up with for a free program. If you like it and want to get rid of the ad, buy it?

 

It does the job well. A big ad is well worth the price.
