Axiz Flash drive lost partition

Hi, I have a 8GB Axiz flash drive. I have lost the partition on my flash. Ironically I was busy backing up my data on my pc from my flash when it suddenly stopped without any warning. After that Windows did not recognise my flash. It picks it up as a "memory bar"(in other pc's as well). I can't format it for some reason and I've tried a few data/partition recovery programs but nothing can get my partition back. When I check Disk Management it says the drive is "Unreadable".
Is there any way to recover my lost partition or data.
Please Help!

When you say "memory bar", do you mean that this is a different name to the one that would normally flash up when you inserted it?

If so, it's probably past saving

Yes, I used to have a personalized label now it just says Removable disk.



Do you think that Axiz might be able to salvage my drive?

 

Well, you can try RecoverMyFiles, it's only a demo/trial but if your data/partition is is still there, it should find it if you use the "Recover Drive" setting.

I doubt Axiz will do any more than offer you a replacement.

 

I tried it now but couldn't retrieve it.

Ok, we tried.

I don't know if this is a common problem or not for this brand, I've not heard of them before. Hopefully the replacement will be 100% good.

Consider buying a second drive of a different brand to use for alternating backups just in case this was triggered by some bug in your PC.
