I currently have the following cleaning utilities on my system and would like to know in what order I should run them when I do my weekly "full" cleaning.

    Boot in Safe Mode

    CCleaner
    Prefetch Control
PC Pitstop Optimizer (Bought before I realized that there were free things on the internet)
    RegScrubXP
RegSeeker (downloaded today to try it out, will replace RegScrub if I like it)
    O&O Defrag
    Spybot
    AdAware
    AntiVir XP

I am assuming that I will need to run them in the order listed above, please let me know if I should run them differently.
    Thanks again for the assistance.

Out of curiosity, how does one get promoted on this site?

You have to say nice things about me, and send me presents which I pass on to the owners.

If they accept, then you are promoted.

As far as the programs, I don't know what Prefetch Control is, but if it deletes the contents of your Prefetch folder, then I wouldn't bother as in my opinion that does nothing whatsoever to speed things up.

I would run the cleaners first, then the scanners and Antivirus programs, and finally the defrag.

Thanks for the prefetch information, I read somewhere that cleaning it regularly would help improve or maintain system performance. I am more comfortable following your advice though. Thanks again. :)

I thought the same thing about prefetch, and I tried it and it does nothing.

In fact, it can slow down applications.

HERE is some information explaining it.

are regcleaners worth it? and no one answered my question in the other thread, about why use disk keeper and oando together?

Is it possible to disable the prefetch cleaning done by CCleaner?

Yes, just uncheck "Old Prefetch Data" listed under System.

Insomniac, are you sure the rank doesnt have something to do with the number of posts? At any rate I will still say nice things about you, but I cant send gifts because I dont have enough for anyone. Thanks for the link.

I reinstalled a new version today, I do not see that option listed under system or anywhere else, so they must have removed it.

    Thanks! :)

Yes, I read on their forum that they removed it as a default setting on the latest version.
