I have heard of more horrible incidents involving children in the past week then I've heard in years, one never. Are people going nuts or is it reaching the media more? INSANE!
One was a father that poisoned his 18 mo and 3 yr old trying to extort money from Campbells. He got 100 years and well deserved. I'm sure fellow inmates will point out to him the error of his ways.
Most convects have moral issues when it comes to children.

Also hopefully the mother of that infant will roll on the aunt. :mad

 

I absolutely agree with you about the news being consumed with harmful and deadly acts towards children.....it just makes me sick uke Anyone that harms children and animals are not worth breathing the same air that I do.......100 yrs to live for what he did??? He should get the chair NOT lethal injection, that would be too good for him.......Hopefully he will not last long in prison....

From personal experience, years ago, I was at a BBQ with friends when my friend's Cousin's wife came out and said there baby had a fever so they were taking it to the hospital. She was only a few weeks old. Hours later the news broke that she was arrested at the hospital because she had actually picked up her baby and swumg it by the feet into a door frame because it would not stop crying and it had a swelling of the brain and a cracked skull among other injuries.

The baby miraculously not only survived, she had no permanant damage and was adopted by one of the nurses who took care of her all those months until she recovered, but if I had know what that .. there aren't even words... had just done? I would have snapped her neck with my bare hands.

 

I read about that little boy and felt like I was going to throwup....what has happened to parents these days???? And your friend's cousin?? Whewwwww - no words

At the same time, I can understand how a baby crying non-stop for hours can drive you insane. But that's why there's supposed to be two parents involved, so you can take turns! A friend of mine who was a single mom, many years ago, walked into my apartment, put her baby in front of me and said "Please, take him. I have to get away." and then she turned and walked out, and left me with the baby.

I always thought that if you can't stand it anymore, that's what you should do: Leave the baby in a safe place and get away from it until you are calm again. Slamming the baby into a wall is not at all a good way to handle things, mainly because once it gets that far, you as a parent should have asked for help a long, long time ago.

 

She had been left alone with him, for the first time ever, for less than an hour. She's beyond sympathy. but you're right... I was at a BBQ, I probably would have made her eat live charcoal.

Timmy, I might be wrong or the kid I worked with might have thought we were talking about the same baby. Dievendorf was the babies original name.
