babylon serch 3:O

ok,i use windows xp.2 last days there is babylon serch toolbar on my mozilla,i didnt put it there and i cant remove it.i uninstal it from control panel,i even uninstal mozilla than i download it again and again it gives me freekin babylon serch..help?:-o

 

It has come from something you have downloaded.
You need to search your file system and delete any with babylon or it will keep returning.

 

If by XP.2 you mean SP2, I would definitely upgrade to SP3 as you are no longer receiving security updates. Many have closed security holes in SP2.

Is the toolbar showing up in Add-ons>extensions? Even if you uninstall firefox and do not remove your profile, extensions are still intact.

 

the thing is i have no clue wut i download w it.the only thing i was downloading is adobe flash player.argh!!!rolleyes i am afraid that it can harm my pc?thank u for replys.

 

Well Adobe flash player certainly has McAfee attached so it could also have babylon depending where you got it from.

 

Be careful with that PC now, don't use your credit card with it. Have a tech reinstall everything and install SP3 for Windows XP. Also, if you can you really need to surf the internet from a non-admin account. This all might sound confusing, but really, your safety is on the line.
