Back into PC games

I have been out of playing MMORPG's for quite some time, I've been really busy with school and stuff. My kind of MMORPG's consist of building a city and working on building an empire and taking over the enemies territories, does anyone have any suggestions of recently-came-out games that I should take a look at?

 

don't you mean real time strategy games not mmorpg's? for what you're talking about you might want to try rise of legends. pretty sweet if you ask me. or if you want something different than building citys try company of heros. haven't played it yet but looks very promising.

 

I used to play Civ 3. Civ IV is out now, I've heard mixed review's I'm el cheapo so waiting for the price to go down. WW2 RTS I play codename panzers Phase 1 $3 on e-bay. Phase 2 is good I hear. Will find out when it arrives.
