had this in open forum, asking for help here also
    history,
had hard drive failure, installed new drive, new windows 7 ult 64. bout a month later noticed myself getting popped to desktop if i was running a full screen game, while investigating this i noticed that every 10 min or so a small dos type window pops up and immediately disappears (too fast to read)
i have installed and run bit defender, super-anti spyware and malware bytes to no avail. in the last week i upgraded to windows 10 pro and it is still a problem, every 10 min or so it pops up and disappears and will pop me to desktop
i investigated with task scheduler and found nothing that i saw would cause this, i also set scheduler to last hour of activity and after the popup happened there was no activity in task scheduler
on task manager and startup i have nothing that looks odd my startup has only my usb on startup.
i would appreciate any help to figure out whats running and why and how to resolve it

If you can't find it, doesn't show up in scans and only happens when playing games (?) I don't know how to help you. It does not sound like a malware issue.

    sorry, guess i wasn't clear,
it happens the entire time the pc is on, just if i am on desktop, it flashes up and is gone in a fraction of a second, if i am in a full screen program it puts me back to desktop. but its happening every 10 min or so the entire time the pc is on, even while i am typing this it happened. tho if i am in a windowed program (like browser) it flashes on top the browser for a moment and disappears, whats frustrating about it is that first what is it? and second no matter what game i am playing, if i am in a full screen mode on ANYTHING it flashes me to desktop

I am not finding any malware. I suggest you return to the thread in the software forum.

Since you are not having any malware problems, it is time to do our final steps:
    1. We recommend you keep Malwarebytes Anti-Malware for scanning/removal of malware.
    2. Go to add/remove programs and uninstall HijackThis. If you don't see it or it will not uninstall, don't worry about it. Just move on to the next step.
    3. If running Vista, Win 7 or Win 8, it is time to make sure you have re-enabled UAC by double clicking on the C:\MGtools\enableUAC.reg file and allowing it to be added to the registry.
    4. Now go to the C:\MGtools folder and find the MGclean.bat file. Double click ( if running Vista, Win7, or Win 8 or 10 Right Click and Run As Administrator ) on this file to run this cleanup program that will remove files and folders related to MGtools and some other items from our cleaning procedures.
    5. Any other miscellaneous tools we may have had you install or download can be uninstalled and deleted.
    6. After doing the above, you should work thru the below link:
