backing up microsoft outlook - how to ?

My friend wants to save all her emails/contacts etc...in MS-outlook.
Anyone know how to do this in a one shot type deal?
I don't have much experience with outlook, rarely use it, since I'm on gmail 24/7...thanks

 

You don't specify which version, but HERE is some information.

Micro$$oft also offer a Personal Folders Backup for Outlook 2003.

also gonna see about the import/export thing with it...looks like it saved the whole ".pst" folder which is what's important....emails, calendar, etc...
