Backlit Keys

    new laptop has these -- i think they're great!

    esp since i do most of my surfing in bed/in the dark. this will surely cut things down from a 90% typo rate to 20 or 30%!

    is there a downside? burn out early compared to rest of laptop? or burn out and take laptop DOWN with them?

    anyone out there who DOESN'T like them? what is the reason?

    I think many (most?) laptops that feature backlit keys allow you to toggle between 'high', 'low', or 'off'. Mine is CNTL F10. What's not to like? YMMV.
