Backup and Recovery Software?

    Any recommendations for a good file backup and recovery app?

    Backup certain files? Second Copy
    Has a scheduler and various types of back up/sync file settings.

    I'm looking for something that would restore my settings and programs if my pc were HD were to fail...let me save it to DVD, and restore what was lost. Norton Ghost was recommended by a friend, but wanted to know what people here thought
