BackUp in WinsXP Home

Hi,
Would be grateful if you could tell me if there is a BackUp facility on WinsXP Home Edition as I cannot seeme to find same
Specs: WinsXP Home Edition, Ver: 5.1.2600 Service Pack2 Build 2600.

The reason that you "cannot find it" is because the Windows XP Backup Utility is not included with the default installation of Windows XP Home Edition. The Backup icon is not present on the Start menu in XP Home Edition, nor is Backup listed in Add/Remove Programs.

The backup program is found on the Windows XP Home Edition Installation CD in the Valueadd folder.

Here's how to "manually" install the XP Backup Utility:

(1) Place the Windows XP Home Edition Installation CD into your CD Drive.
(2) Double-click the Ntbackup.msi file in the following location on the Windows XP Home Edition CD to start a wizard that installs the XP Backup Utility: CD-ROM Drive:\VALUEADD\MSFT\NTBACKUP
(3) When the wizard is complete, click Finish.
