BackUp software

    Hi fellas,

    I bough Samsung 1TB external HDD. It came with automated backup software that sux. Just stops working after a while.

    Can you recommend some free software that will basically do the copy/paste for me?

    Hi

    What Windows version you using? just asking as option maybe different for various OSes.


    Also what do you want to backup? is it just data files and in replicating then from one HD to another eg. My Docs folder copied to My Docs Backup or do you wish to clone the whole HDD?


    If a basic backup copy of one folder to another then a few options you can use.

    1. SyncToy (do double check the options available and a guide here)
    2. Cobian Backup
    3. Karens Replicator


    For Full HDD Cloning/Imaging

    I want to copy all of my Pictures, movies and Folders (word documents, school projects etc...)
