I have an IBM Thinkpad T21 2647-8AG with a 128MB PC100 memory chip. I want to upgrade and went to crucial.com. It says I can upgrade using 2 256MB chips rated at PC133mhz. Can I use PC133MHZ. chips instead of PC100MHZ????? I have been told the PC133MHZ will not work. Why would they not work????
    Thanks!

They should work, but would run at the slower PC100 speed, unless your motherboard also supports the faster speed.
