Java and other scripts are different in HTML for mozilla browsers and IE just so ya know.

I took a look at it last night. It was some CSS specifics to Mozilla (Overflow and Opacity) that are done differently in IE.

IE is really annoying, because it supports things that other browsers don't. You can do your best to remove these parts from the scripts/HTML to make sure that you're not using any of the crappy stuff that only IE supports.

theres gotta be an article on the web somewhere that says the difference. I mean, there has to be a ton of people that run into the same problem.

Could you also post a link to your friends blog so we could check out the source code and see if you did anything wrong?

    Mozilla handles CSS attributes correctly.
IE does not (especially absolute positioning).

If something displays in IE different from Mozilla, then it is most like the fault of IE's poor standards support. IE 6 isn't terribly bad, but IE 5 and 5.5 were just horrible.
