Bandwidth problem??

Well my internets been going relativly slow lately... any video i try to load, it takes absolutly forever, if it even does load that is... my ping on WoW is like 300 when its normally 80 and spikes to 3k+ Ive ran multiple anti virus software, and nothing has come up, ive cleaned up my registry..and still nothing...and according to http://www.pcpitstop.com/ ...my bandwidth is about 171 kb/s...that is dreadful for having a cable modem...it should be about 2500 kb/s...i have no idea wtf is up...can anyone suggest anything? are there any programs that tell me where my bandwidth is all going? =\

Hi

Could try this free app NetLimiter 2 Monitor ( note get the Monitor as thats the lite freebee one but will highlight apps that are using bandwidth from your PC )

However more seems as if your speed maybe slow from the ISP, have you contacted them to check your connection?

Rebooted your modem/router?

Also do a cleanup of your PC and this guide is good Basic computer maintenance everyone should do

Also maybe flush your DNSCache, open a Command prompt ( if Vista rigth click CMD and choose Run as Administrator ) and type ipconfig /flushdns

Check on your modems control panel your connection speed.

Run a different speedtest, could be that the one used is overloaded itself, this one is one I'm impressed with of late http://www.speed.io/index_en.html
