bandwidth tester

just changed web browser from ie to mozilla, installed the bandwidth tester how do i know if its good or not ? i am on cable and it came back saying it was 312 kbs ,is that good or not ?

 

Wrangler: There are a couple of web sites you can also check you bandwidth at here they are, I find them to be very helpful as I run on DirecWay satelite.

Itt seems slow. Have your cable provider check your lines and connectors.
Mine is a 3Mb/sec max speed cable connection.
From the Speakeasy site:

thanks for the replies will check connections ,tried other sites in the other post everyone is different last was 527kbs i dont have the fastest cable connection offered by the cable company mine is somewhere in the middle
