I have a computer running Windows xp pro with a cable modem, the problem that i have is when i'm on the internet lokking at pages, and i start using programs like DC++ or bittorrent, then i can't surf on the internet any more, the pages don't load, but when i close dc++ or bittorrent the surfing goes back to normal. i try using NETLIMITER to control the bandwith of the programs but that didn't work

If it were me, I would check for spyware.

if it were me, I'd stop using all that software as you said yourself that it causes a problem.
We all know what that software is used for. ;)
