Bare Bones Setup... Around 250?

I am trying to buy components from Tigerdirect for a barebones computer that i am goign to use as a media server...
I cant decide between Core 2 duo or a Phenom X4 (they are about teh same price) or which hardware is good or bad (look for cheap components since i dont game on my computer or anything)

Already have harddrive, video card, and ddr2 ram.... just need case, mobo, psu, and cpu (fans and everything also)

 

Since you said media server I thought I'd mention that if you are going to store and provide video content it is very processor and memory intense just like gaming.

 

It doesnt output video it just streams it over the network... Also does video editing
