Batch File Ad-Aware2007

Lev Please, I have been reading thread 140972 and would be very grateful if you would explain step-by-step how to create batch file in post 7 No 15 TY so much for this very good explanatery thread. Win XP SP2. Boneyeye.

Sure.....didn't see your request the first time, so glad you bumped it.

Open a text editor like Notepad, and in the main window type:

@echo off
cls
"C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007\Ad-Aware2007.exe"
pskill aawservice.exe
exit

Be sure that you have the quotation marks in the first line.
And then save this batch file to the
"C:\Program Files\Lavasoft\Ad-Aware 2007\" directory.

Just to note while the instruction given in the post work fine for Win XP, I found that setting the start type to Manual via services.msc in Vista caused an error and the app would not function. However, all other instructions worked great with Vista.
