Batch Photo Program

I need a photo program that will convert files to bitmap in a batch then be able to compress. Does anybody know of any good programs.

 

I think Easy Thumbnails can do both convert and compress, but don't hold me to that. Free too!

Looking for a way to compress

 

If by compress, you mean reduce the size of the file/reducing quality so it's not too voluminous, Easy does that...

Lower jpeg (Assuming) quality then just convert to bmps.
