battery flashing on computer

On my dell inspiron 531s theres a led battery light on the front an dit keeps flashing on and off. Computers working fine but is it supposed to be flashing?

If so, that's actually the hard drive indicator, and it flashes whenever these is disk activity. Quite normal.

 

Yea same symbol just my symbol lites up rather than the light up thing above but same thing. Ok thats good then thanks
