BATTLE~1.EXE can't get rid

Hi,

I need a bit of help getting rid of a bit of programme that won't go!

My lad bless him! had his mate round to play Battlefield 2 on my computer, not a problem but as his mate already had this game on his computer it would not fully work on mine???? they decided that it would be a good idea to down load a
Key changer??????? to see if this would work ( needless to say It didn’t)

When I found out, apart from going Mad! I deleted as much of the programme as possible using JV16 but I have an Icon which I just can't shift?

The icon is on my on my Desktop and just states " Battlefield 2 Keygen Serial.e when I attempt to delete, a message pops up stating that’s its in use by another programme. Should I click on it another icon is generated but this time it states MSdos programme, this I can delete.

I have ran Symantec and nothing found so I don't thing its harmful is just that its there! and I cant be rid of it?

Appreciate any help...

While Majorgeeks does not advocate the use of keygens to bypass copy protection to software.

you should be able to remove that file by using Move on Boot , Unlocker or even via Safe Mode

my best bet would be Move on Boot.

It shouldnt be harmless BUT not all keygens and warez downloaded off the net are none harmless, as you don't know what you are downloading the majority of the time they could in fact be hiding all sorts of spyware or trojans.
