Battlefield 1942 interstate82 mod problem

i don't know whats causing the problem but every time i start some maps sometimes it will just crash back to desktop with no error and on other maps it will start the map fine but theres some things on the screen that should not be there. The game runs fine its at max settings and on the maps that the game came with it plays fine but these mod maps are not working right. Anyone else ever have this problem? The game is up to date and so is the mod:cry
also the things i am talking about is the window Mapvote heading the skull and cross bones, and the little vote map screen. i cant get them to go away

Oh BTW is there a interstate mod for Battlefield Vietnam, Battlefield 2, Battlefield 2 Special Forces, or Battlefield 2142?

Check all drivers, can cause problems with mods. Reinstalling the base game and then the mod can work.

And yes in answer to your question, there is a new mod out for the Battlefield series.

It's still in Beta I believe, but check the EA website.

 

is it called "Interstate Nitro"? If so i can't seem to beable to find a download for it anywere.

is the one your talking about for Vietnam, 2, or 2142?
