I just bought the whole Battlefield 1942 series including Vietnam. After installing the original 1942 game I tried it but was having pretty bad graphics performance. I also bought a new GeForce 5700 LE video card with 256 MB of DDR. I think I should have no problem running this game smoothly. Even after lowering the graphics to the lowest level I was still getting jerky video. Has anyone else had this problem?

    Below are my system specs:
    Processor: Intel P4 1.7 Ghz
    Motherboard: ACorp 4S845A w/Intel Brookdale i845
    Memory: 512 MB
Video: NVidia GeForce FX 5700LE w/256 MB
HD: Dual WD 40 GB Ultra-ATA100

i installed Vietnam and it runs super smooth! I wonder why an older game requires more resources than a newer one.

Ok, problem solved! Seemed like it just needed a patch! I can now run the game at the high graphics setting and it looks great.
