Battlefield Problem!!!!!!!

Ok I got a MAJOR problem with BF 1942 and BFV. I install it and run it its all fine but when I use scroll button it keeps scrolling always so it changes gun like mad and i cant shoot and its being pretty gay if you guys know what I mean.

 

Im sorry im kinda young and I dunno what drivers and shit are. Btw why wud I have to uninstall the game if its my mouse? Just tell me how to use windows drivers please.

 

Well first off, we need some system specs. You can use Everest Home Edition to find out everything you'd ever need to know about your computer. We need.....

Motherboard
CPU ( processor )
Memory type & amount
Video card
OS ( Operating System, i.e. Windoze XP, Me, 98, bla bla bla ). That shoulda 'bout do 'er up. ( yea yea imabig Larry the Cable Guy fan )

Drivers are files that tell the hardware in your machine what to do. To find out what drivers your mouse is using go to Start\Settings\Control Panel. Click on the Mouse, select Hardware, then at the bottom click Properties, then Driver. This will tell you what drivers the mouse is using.

To remove these go to Start\Settings\Control Panel\Add\Remove Programs. Find anything that has to do with your mouse ( by brand name or type ) & remove it. Now unplug your mouse, plug it back in & reboot. < That's an iffy. Windoze should pick up the "New Hardware" & install the Winodoze drivers. There will be a couple things to click,not exactly sure what they might be at the moment, but it's easy to follow.

Also you might want to look around the Battlefield boards as there are alot of folks that have had firsthand knowledge of these issues.
