BC music festivals and campfire food

If your not interested in them, then here's a picture of a late night camping trip supper. It was dark so you can see the steaks were a bit overdone, but the potatoes...excellent, and the coffeepot speaks for itself.

 

We went to the Kaslo one this year and we've been to a couple in the past not on this list, but we're gonna try and go to one a year.

 

i used to love going to the festivals. it was truly 'time out' for us. over here there aren't any, so we just take off camping occasionally. food always tastes better out doors and as an added bonus its the only time my hubby cooks. wood is not only plentiful, but 'flavorful'. we cook on kiave wood which has a flavor like rose wood. i'm restless just thinking about it, looking at the open night sky, falling to sleep listening to the waves, think its time for a few days off.

 

not a very big coffee pot, must have been by yourself.........wobbles

 

My wife doesn't drink coffee, I get 2 big mugs out of that.

 

On the grill not exactly Campfire food, But we do fix these while camping.

Red jalepenos stuffed with cream cheese and garlic, wrapped with bacon.

Those look really good. They'd look good in my pic on the campfire.

Picked most of the red ripe ones yesterday, found a few to take picture of.

 

Also, anyone can take pictures of a garden, lets see a non-photoshop of the poster picking the peppers from the garden.

 

I think I will just sit and drink beer!!!

 

Yeah, well, I'm already sitting and drinking beer as I type this!
