Beeping Computer

    rolleyesWhat causes the computer to beep,and the picture not to go off when you click the X? Even if I right click at the bottom it beeps & the words don't come up (close,etc.). Not all screens do it just some.

    Hi

    You either have a faulting hanging application or possibly malware, so need more info to troubleshoot this issue of yours,

    • Which Windows version is this?
    • Are your PC temps ok?
    • Inside of PC clean?
    • Have you scanned for malware?
    • In Event Viewer under application or system do you have any error messages at time of these beeps? if so what are they.

    No error messages come when it beeps. It has beeped while I've been typing.
    It's a Windows XP. The computer is about 3 years old (DELL). It's never been cleaned inside. Really don't know anything about how to do it. Don't know how to tell the temperature either. As far as Malware-have CCLEANER-SUPERAntispyware-Eusing Free Registry Cleaner-Advanced Windows Care V2-RegScrub XP--AVG.
