Belkin F5D7231-4 Wireless Router

Can I get some advice? After days of e-mail tag with Belkin support, they are now recommending that I return my router to them for repair or replacement (I am assuming at my expense).

My symptoms: The "Connected" lamp on the router flashes constantly. The PC will connect to the wireless signal, but there is no internet connecgtion through this connection. When connected by wire through the router, there is an internet connection.

My question is: Does this router need repair/replacement, or can the problem be corrected otherwise? If otherwise, then please advise. Feel free to ask questions if there is not enough information for you.

You cannot repair any thing on a Wireless Router, if you configured the Wireless Correctly and it does not work, send it to Belkin.

Belkin usually has very long warranty period on the devices that they sell (ask if you are not sure). So pack your unit and send it (it would be about $10 to ship).

They probably would send you immediately a refurbished one.
