Belkin Wireless will no longer work

While working through a malware removal my wireless internet connection stopped working. When I click on the Belkin Wireless Network Utility icon or through the program list it searches and then I get a notification that states there is a problem with the shortcut.
The item that this shortcut referes to has been changed or moved, so tis shortcut will no longer work properly.
I've tried to re-download a driver, but that doesn't seem to work.

I use the Windows built in utility instead of the router manufacturers, I seem to run into fewer problems that way, although I have been able to resolve them with Google help. You could try resetting the router, usually done through a hole with a paperclip, although that shouldn't be necessary, and uninstalling the Belkin driver through device manager and or add or remove programs, restart and then install the driver from file or disk w/o the additional software when prompted on restart. I try to make a habit of backing up all drivers inf cat to an external media for any pc's I deal with. Better yet go to C:\Program Files\ and see if you can find the folder Belkin is located in and locate the file the shortcut referred to. Or try a right click on the useless shortcut and check out properties. Something changed but it might put you on the path to its real location, if it exists. Is the program still located in Add or Remove Programs? Sorry so wordy, long days as of late, sounds like an easy fix though.
Bug
