    hi and my 1st post im not totally clued up on computers and been taken for 1 too many rides by so called experts so please help where no one else can i have a belkin router model F5D7632-4 v3uk and it keeps on disconnecting at random times i have tried the firmware update and no luck i am looking at getting the nintendo wii and a laptop for chrimbo so need it sorting for the wireless side i have tried all the faqs on the belkin site and gone thru the settings and it seems to be okay but not 100 percent sure is there anything wot i should have on or off on the router settings plz note it seems to disconnect alot when i play a game called albatross 18 online i have a windows firewall and the firewall on my router is on is that the problem?? plz again note im not totally clued up on pcs hence why im on here 4 help many thx

    eddie17, for complete clarity since you do not state this categorically, is the problem which you have to do with the wireless side of your router.

    What wireless pc are you trying to connect to and what type of device does it have ie is a laptop or desktop with pci, usb or pcmcia.

    Really need to know as much as possible regarding your set up, otherwise it is going to be difficult for anyone to provide meaningful pointers to you.

    hi thx 4 the reply i have nothing connected to my pc yet no laptops etc i will in the futre just not yet i have a 2mb connection broadband with tiscali i have tried tests and seem to be up to speed for some reason it just keeps disconnecting i used to have a speedtouch modem and never disconnected so im sure its my router where something is wrong is there anything i should have on or off like right here goes on my settings
