can someone help my belkin router will not stay connected. it disconnects after about 4 min. my home is wired for high speed internet. i tried to reset even left unpluged for 1 week still same problem. if i connect straight to the pc from wall everything is fine but throuigh router nothing no connection. sometime it connects them disconnects

 

What do you mean by: "My home is wired to High Speed Intrenet".

The Router needs to be connected directly to the Modem and nothing between them.

 

i have high speed fiber optics in my home no modem needed. it worked fine then router was unplugged one day then it would not stay connected.there is a ethernet port in every room

 

I do not know what type of service you have, and how your paying for it.

Most DSL and Cable services need some knid of authentication (ID and Password). Find out from your service provoder how to configure the WAN port of your Router.

 

its high speed through fiber optics no password needed i pay a monthly service. its with the local cable company
