    Hello everyone.

My boss asked me about benchmarking a NIC when we had a system with networking issues a few months back. The problem was actually a bad cat5 cable needing replacement. Though I've still been looking at ways to possibly benchmark NIC's to see if they are going bad.

Currently, I'll just navigate the web, move a large files over the network and ping google -t. I think he was looking to see if the card would have ups and downs performance wise.
