Best A+ Practice Tests?

Although I've been playing with and working on PCs since the days of DOS, I've finally decided to go for a Bachelor's of IT degree through a reputable online university (read: finally might get paid what I'm really worth).

My first challenge is the CompTIA A+ exams. While I aced the pre-tests on hardware and setups, I'm still struggling a bit with what my advisor calls "brute force memorization" of things like port numbers, hexadecimal math and what socket type a Sandy Bridge CPU uses (spoiler alert: The answer could be either 1155 or H2).

The university uses a teaching platform called uCertify and offers practice tests from uCertify and Kaplan. Reading the student bulletin boards, it appears Kaplan phrases their practice questions better, as in the sense of what it will really look like on the actual exam. I've also been advised that Professor Messer is a good source.

Realizing the questions on the real exams are random, I'm wondering who offers the best test prep exams; "best" defined as phrased closest to the way the questions will appear on the exam (including seemingly trick and/or ambiguous questions I've already seen the uCertify and Kaplan).

I want to pass on the first try. If you've used any prep tests in the past, please post your thoughts on who offers good ones at a reasonable price or which ones are bad. Thanks.

Go with your gut gman, you have been around long enough to sniff the questions intent.
Dont let fancy wording deter you, parse the question into plain text you can grasp and apply your practical situations to the task.

    You will piss it in!

I passed part one last week with about 100 points to spare. :)

One thing I noticed is many of the questions border on trick ones and have to be read (and re-read) carefully. One small word buried in a 150 word question makes a single right answer stand out.
