Best a64 939 core?

Looking to buy a new 939pin AMD, but I lost count of the cores after the winchester came out, now theres venice, sandiego, newcastle, clawhammer, etc...


Which one is the most stable OC'ing wise (aircooled), and which HS/Fan combo is the BEST for 939s?

Whats the deal w/onboard FSB?

Dude your talking to yourself lol ,last night I ordered the thermalright xp 90-c and some arctic silver 5 from overclockers.co.uk

,its heads above all other coolers in every review,sometimes the thermalright xp 120 is slightly ahead,but it wont fit the msi neo 2,one of the caps gets in the way of the heatpipes,you can fit it by bending the cap 45 degrees,but from what I'v seen it isnt as good as the xp 90 c anyway.The best thing about this cooler though is the fins are horizontal when fitted so no warm air is blown onto the vid card or memory,straight out the back,IMO perfect for the msi neo plat 2!

The only drawback is the weight 1.5 pounds of copper,it has its own retention mechanism thats solid but you have to take out the mobo to install it

If you can wait until wednesday or thursday I'll give you a no bullshit headsup how good the cooler is

PS I'v also ordered the nv 5 for my 6800gt I hope you wernt kidding how good it is.lol

I went with the venus 12 again, since im getting SUCH low readings on my 3200+ Im sure it will perform just as well on my 3700+.

 

I think you should check it that how high it can be OCed at somewebs OC before you wan to get it.
